These are some pictures from Narita airport in Tokyo. It is the cleanest airport we have ever seen. We had to walk down stairs, through tunnels and up stairs to get to our new gate. You can also see the route that we took to get here. We flew from Chicago up over Alaska and then toward Japan. On the TV in the airport we just saw that it is 88 degrees F in Ho Chi Minh City. And we just saw Blagojevich on the news here. Hmm - guess Illinois is world famous! Not sure that is a good thing though!
It is 2:25 in the morning in Chicago - on Saturday - but is 5:25 in Tokyo. Our plane to Saigon leaves in an hour. The flight from Chicago was 2 hours late leaving - weather and who knows what else caused the delay. The flight was fine - good food and service - but the economy seats are so small. And it was a loooong flight! Thirteen hours.

Waiting at the airport for our next flight - from Tokyo to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). To get to Saigon from Chicago takes over 24 hours. We left our homes in Chicago at 7:30 in the morning on Friday and got to our hotel in Saigon at 1:00 in the afternoon on Saturday (Chicago time).
